S.S. Decor is an online retailer in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra selling festive and home
decor — 49 pieces at present, split between Diwali and pooja decor and everyday pieces that stay up all
year. We sell online and ship across India; there is no counter to walk into.
What this shop is actually about
Festival decor is a category with one honest problem: almost all of it is bought in a hurry, three days before
it is needed, from a photograph. So the two things that decide whether an order works are the ones listings
usually leave out — how many pieces are in the pack, and what it is made of.
Quantity, because a doorway needs four garlands and a mandap needs forty, and a single pack of five bought by
mistake is money wasted on something that looks thin. Material, because metal survives a diya and resin does not,
paper is indoor-only, painted wood lifts at the edges in open rain, and velvet does not recover from an oil
spill. Every listing on this site names both.
The two halves, stated plainly
Festive and pooja decor
Garlands and latkan, urli bowls, velvet asan and chunari,
diya and tealight holders, door banners and table sets. This is the core of the shop.
Everyday home decor
Flameless candles, artificial vines, interchangeable door and
table signs, cushion covers. Several of these were designed abroad around autumn and harvest motifs. We describe
them by what they look like rather than by a holiday nobody here keeps — it is stock we carry, and saying
so is simpler than dressing it up.
How we write listings
Every description on this site is written here. Where the maker does not state a figure — a battery
life, a run length — we leave it out rather than estimate it. Where a material has a limitation, the
description says so before you buy: not weatherproof, indoor only, spot clean, covers only.

S.S. Decor is a small online retailer and is not registered for GST:
turnover stays below the applicable registration threshold in India, so registration has not become compulsory.
GST is therefore not charged separately on any order, and no GST tax invoice carrying a registration number can
be issued. The figure printed beside a piece is the whole amount payable.
